How to Cancel a Port

To cancel a port, you will go to the Porting tab in the Back Office > Manage Ports>The port ID you wish to cancel. On the left side of the port, under Actions, click "Cancel Port." This will send a notification to the Porting Team. Be advised the team manually cancels orders, so you cannot submit a new port for the TN's in that request until the port is formally cancelled by VI.

Cancelling a port with FOC results in a charge to VI from the carrier. Therefore, if a port has FOC, a cancellation will result in a charge of $5 per TN if the FOC is 72+ hours out. If the port is within 48 hours of the assigned FOC date, the charge is $75 per TN. This is a non-refundable charge.
