10DLC Customer Registration

The Customer Registration Page can be found in the VI Back Office under SMS > 10DLC SMS Registration > Customers. This tool will allow service providers to register customers as Brands with The Campaign Registry and is Part 1 of the 3 step 10 DLC Registration Process.

To begin the Brand creation process, click Create New Customer in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Please note that each distinct company / end user must be registered separately and cannot be grouped together.

Choosing the correct registration option

The method of registration that is right for your customer will depend on whether or not your user’s business has an EIN

 

If your customer’s business has an EIN, you must select the appropriate option. Businesses that falsely state that they do not have an EIN may have their brands/use cases suspended by TCR.

Sole Proprietor (No EIN) Restrictions

  • Maximum of 1 Telephone Number per Sole Proprietor Customer/Brand

  • Maximum of 1 Campaign per Brand

  • 1,000 message/day limit to T-Mobile

  • 15 message/minute per campaign

Sole Proprietor (No EIN) Validation Rules

  • Physical Address: 10 Sole Proprietor brands per single address

  • Active US or Canadian mobile phone number: 3 Sole Proprietor brands per single mobile phone number

    • The contact number must belong to the end user that will be generating the SMS traffic

  • Mobile Phone Number must respond to one-time SMS verification*

    • If you are a service provider, it is recommended that you notify your end user/customer of this notification so that they know it is legitimate.

  • Email: 10 Sole Proprietor brands per single email address

*Sole Proprietor customers will not be eligible for campaign assignment until the one-time verification messaged has been responded to.

A verification request will be sent to the mobile contact number within a few minutes of submitting your sole proprietor brand

Entering Customer Information

The required information for customers will vary depending on the legal form of the organization, which is one of the following options:

  • Government

  • Non-Profit Organization

  • Private Company

  • Publicly Traded Company
