If you delete a DID from your account and would like to recover it , you may do so from the Back Office. Please be aware that once a DID is deleted from your account, a “hold” is placed on the DID where it's not available for purchase by any other customer for up to 30 days. *This is a best effort policy and not binding.* After about 30 days, the number is tested and released back into our inventory where it can be purchased from the Back Office through the normal purchasing process. (For information on purchasing DIDs, click here).You can reassign the DID back to your account from the Back Office if it is done before the 30 days is up. You can reassign local, international and Toll-Free DIDs that have been released from your account. To do so, click the DIDs tab and select Recently Released DIDs. The resulting page will present you with a list of all DIDs released from your account in the last 30 days. *Just as in purchasing new DID, reassigning DIDs requires propagation time (10-15 minutes) after the process completes before the calls will be sent to your PBX. There are two variances for reassigning released DIDs; one for reassigning a single DID and one for reassigning multiple DIDs.
To reassign a single DID, simply place a check mark in the box to the left of the number and use the drop-down menu to select the Endpoint Group. Click the Order Selected DIDs button to launch a confirmation window showing various information including the number and Endpoint Group it will be assigned to. Click the Confirm Order button to immediately reassign the number to your account.
Confirming the order will advise if the DIDs are successfully added back to your account. If you receive an error, please contact support to resolve the issue. If you need assistance contacting support, /wiki/spaces/VS/pages/7897089.
To reassign multiple DIDs, place check marks to the left of each DID you wish to reassign to your account and choose the desired Endpoint Group from the drop-down menu to the right of the 'Default Endpoint Group' heading at the bottom of the page (as opposed to the Endpoint Group column for a single DID).
After you have successfully reassigned DIDs to your account, they will be visible in your DIDs list. Select the DIDs tab -> Manage DIDs.
To Reassign a Recently Released DID, select the DIDs tab -> Released DIDs.
Any DID that is released from your account in the last 30 days will appear in the resulting list.
To reassign a recently released DID, place a check mark in the box to the left of the desired number, choose the desired Endpoint Group, and click the Order Selected DIDs button.
You must confirm the order after selecting the desired DID/Endpoint.
You will see an “Are you sure?” message.
After the DID(s) have been reassigned, they will show in your DIDs list available from DIDs-> Manage DIDs. Please allow 10-15 minutes for propagation after reassigning a DID.
