The standard VoIP Innovations configuration requires you to create two individual trunks for our service. You will create both an inbound trunk that uses 64.136.173.31 as the host, and an outbound trunk that uses 64.136.174.30 as the host. Please note that besides the IP addresses that are listed, the trunk configurations listed below are merely suggestions; a configuration that works for one customer may not work for another.
Both trunks are identical in configuration but the only thing that really changes is the host IP and the trunk name. Below is some of the basic trunk settings and their corresponding screenshots. The trunks page can be found under Connectivity > Trunks

From here you will want to provide a distinguishing name to your trunk (can be anything you desire)

After this, proceed to the 'sip Settings' tab and provide a trunk name as well as the PEER Details to connect with VoIP Innovations. Please note we recommend configuring multiple trunks in this manner with all respective origination/termination SIP Signaling IPs.

Inbound:
Host=64.136.173.31
Type=friend
Context=from-trunk
Insecure=port,invite
dtmfmode=rfc2833
disallow=all
allow=ulaw&alaw

For this, go under Connectivity > Inbound Routes. The important thing here is the DID Number line as it will tell you how you want the call to come into your pbx, 10,11 or 12 digits. The other couple tabs are going to be based on if you want to do privacy, faxing or some more advanced settings.

For configuring an outbound trunk, you will want to use the same trunk settings as above, but just you the following configurations under the sip settings for your outbound trunk.
Outbound:
Host=64.136.174.30 type=friend insecure=port,invite
dtmfmode=rfc2833 disallow=all context=from-trunk
allow=ulaw

Outbound Routes need to be configured to properly send VoIP Innovations a termination call. These can be configured under Connectivity > Outbound Routes. This last screenshot and description will be setting up a basic outbound route. This will allow you to specify which trunk you wish to send calls and the sequence to send them too. This is also pretty basic but the focus point here is the Trunk Sequence for Matched Routes. It will tell you wish outbound trunk to route to first and then so on acting as a failover in a sense.

The last thing to note on the outbound route is the dial plan. This is going to be configured how you expect the customers to dial out from their phones. For instance, 011 for international or like 9 and 10 digit destination for domestic numbers.
The last trunk configuration to be shown is PJSIP. Add a trunk through the Connectivity > Trunks menu and select pjsip.
