VitalPBX Trunk Configuration

Create a new sip trunk by going to PBX -> External -> Trunks.

In the description, put a unique name. Example: "Primary trunk"

For outgoing peer configuration put a unique username in local username even though VoIP Innovations uses IP authentication. If you do not put a username, configuration will fail. Example: "primary-out"

Set the remote host to the necessary outbound signaling IP provided by VoIP Innovations. Example: 64.136.174.30

On insecure, select port, invite.

Turn qualify off.

Moving to the incoming user configuration put a unique username.

If you do not put an incoming username, even using IP based authentication, your incoming calls will be REJECTED. Example: "primary-in"

Set the host to the necessary inbound signaling IP provided by VoIP Innovations. Example: 64.136.173.31

On insecure, select port & invite.

Turn on IP Authentication and turn off qualify.
