There are two main types of CNAM features that you can add to your DIDs, CNAM Lookup and CNAM Storage (Caller ID). When someone calls one of your DIDs and CNAM Lookup is enabled, the calling party's ANI is dipped, and we will send the CNAM information to you. If it's disabled, we will only delivery the number to your PBX.
Outbound CNAM, on the DID Configuration Wizard, allows you to add a caller ID name to your DID, however; not all DIDs support this feature. If caller ID is not available, you will see Not Available grayed out. If the DID supports it, the box will blank so you can input a name.
